Vessel Assessments
At Meridian Global Consulting, we are committed to providing a scalable solution to your safety and security needs. We will travel throughout your fleet when your vessels reach various ports, conduct a vessel assessment, modify and update your Ship’s Security Plan, conduct Crew Security Awareness Training, and conduct Drills/Exercises with the crew. With our vessel assessment, we will offer scalable layers of protection ranging from steel-reinforced improvements to your lower exterior hatches and drop down cages to Thermal and Night Vision Marine Cameras. After the assessment is conducted, you decide what level you will implement.
Ship Security Plan
Security Plans are executed and designed in accordance with the International Maritime Organization's (IMO) International Ship & Port Security (ISPS) Code, the US Maritime Transportation Security Act of 2002 (MTSA) and all USCG Port Advisories. Developing a Facility and/or Ship Security Plan is a 5 step process:
- On Scene Security Survey (OSSS)
- Port Facility/Ship Security Assessment (PFSA/SSA)
- Port Facility/Ship Security Plan (PFSP/SSP)
- Port Facility/Ship Security Procedures
- Submission of Security Plan for Implementation
Depending on which level of Meridian Global’s scalable solution you decide on, Meridian Global Consulting will customize and implement those modifications.
