Vessel Security

For U.S.-Flagged Vessels:

Meridian Global Consulting will provide an armed security team aboard your vessel anywhere in the world. In full compliance with ITAR, an equipment kit will be loaded onto your vessel stateside and remain on board at all times. The embarked security team [EST] will meet the vessel at a time and place of the vessel’s choosing in order to transit High Risk Waters [HRW].

While onboard the EST will ensure that the ship is secured. The EST will advise the master of areas of High Risk and recent pirate activity. In addition, the EST is available for anti-piracy crew training and will conduct crew drills prior to transiting HRW. Once onboard, the EST provides 24-hour security, keeping crew costs low and unburdened with additional watch.

When the embarked security team is no longer needed, they will disembark at a port of the vessel’s choosing in order to keep your costs low. With equipment already staged on the ships you now have a scalable option that can be exercised at any time, giving your ship or entire fleet the freedom of movement anywhere in the world.

Meridian Global Consulting is comprised of former Marines with shipboard security and vetted combat experience. Ship security is a learned skill set that has been ingrained into our former Marines.
